Technical Trainer Firewall Security:

Job Title: Technical Trainer Firewall & Security

Location: Chennai - Perungulathur

Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and technically skilled Technical Trainer Firewall & Security to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in networking and security technologies and a strong background in training delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct technology training sessions for L1/L2 engineers on the production floor.
Administer skill gap assessments and deliver refresher training programs.
Develop lab scenarios and case studies for Level 1 & 2 support.
Simulate complex technical issues in lab environments and provide break-fix solutions.
Create and deliver training content on emerging technologies via classroom, online, and blended formats.
Continuously upgrade technical knowledge and obtain certifications as per business needs.
Track and report training effectiveness using feedback, conversion %, and learning curve metrics.
Travel within India and abroad to deliver training as required.

Required Skills:

Networking Fundamentals:

OSI Model, Ethernet Frame, MTU, ARP, GARP, Proxy ARP, RARP
ICMP, IPv4/IPv6, Fragmentation, VLSM/CIDR
TCP (3-Way Handshake), MSS, UDP, FTP (Active/Passive), TFTP
DHCP, DNS, SNMP, QoS, Syslog
Wireshark Packet Capture & Analysis
Utilities: Ping, Traceroute, Nslookup, Netstat

Firewall & Security:

Firewall, NAT, ALG
IPSec VPN, SSL VPN, Site-to-Site & Remote Access VPN
Unified Threat Management (UTM)
Network Threats & Mitigation Techniques
Vulnerability Assessment, ADS
Cryptography, PKI, AAA (RADIUS, EAP, TACACS, SAML, SSO)
High Availability (Active-Active, Active-Passive)
Endpoint Security, Certificate Server, Cloud Security, SIEM, Web Proxy, Content Filtering

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in TAC/Tech Support or Enterprise TAC environments.
Industry certifications in networking and security domains.
