Laitram Machinery, a division of Laitram L.L.C., is seeking a Technical Support Specialist and Dispatcher to manage the scheduling of our field service teams, which consist of field service technicians and field service engineers and provide technical support to our customers. We are looking for someone who has strong project management and coordination skills, is self-managed, and is organized. Responsibilities
- Provide technical assistance and customer support via phone, email, or chat
- Support customers and spare parts team with spare parts number identification
- Document and track customer interactions and solutions provided in the Dynamics CRM system.
- Create and update knowledge base documentation.
- Manage a Field Services schedule board and assign Field Service Technicians and Field Service Engineers based on incoming requests.
- Push field service resources to complete administrative tasks associated with work orders properly.
- Communicate and collaborate with both internal and external customers.
- Occasional travel and on-site visits throughout India
- Work with the project management team to coordinate international resources for the installation and commissioning of equipment.
- Guide customers through the installation, setup, and operation of products.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and technical issues with products.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of product specifications and functionalities.
- Create and update knowledge base documentation.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering is desired.
- Fluent English, Hindi and Telugu
- Strong project management and coordination skills, including planning, scheduling, dispatching, and communicating.
- Proficient with Infor and Microsoft software (Dynamics Field Service, Teams).
- Computer proficiency with demonstrated experience in MS Office (Word & Excel).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Customer service-oriented personality and approach.
