Technical Support Executive – Manufacturing Execution System (MES) Software

👉 Position Overview

We are looking for dedicated and technically sound individuals to join our team as Technical Support Executives for Manufacturing Execution System (MES) software. This role focuses on supporting clients in the effective use, troubleshooting, and ongoing performance of MES software. Ideal candidates will possess strong technical aptitude, good communication skills, and the ability to understand and support manufacturing operations through software tools.

👉 Key Responsibilities

1️⃣ Provide first-level technical support for MES software via phone, email, or remote access.

2️⃣ Diagnose and resolve software-related issues including configuration errors, user difficulties, and data integration concerns.

3️⃣ Log, track, and manage support tickets; ensure timely resolution in line with defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

4️⃣ Assist users with software navigation, report generation, and best practices in system usage.

5️⃣ Coordinate with internal teams such as development, QA, and implementation for escalations or feature enhancements.

6️⃣ Maintain detailed documentation of issues, solutions, and system changes.

7️⃣ Support software installation, updates, and configuration at client locations or remotely.

8️⃣ Deliver professional and timely communication to ensure high client satisfaction.

Required Qualifications & Skills

▪️Graduate in Computer Science, IT, or a related technical discipline.

▪️0–2 years of experience in software/application support, ideally in industrial or enterprise systems.

▪️Understanding of MES workflows and related software environments.

▪️Familiarity with SQL databases, Windows operating systems, and remote support tools.

▪️Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

▪️Ability to manage multiple support cases and prioritize tasks effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

- B.Tech / BCA / MCA or Diploma in Computer Science / IT.

- Prior experience in supporting MES or ERP software is highly desirable.

- Certifications or training in MES, ERP, or related industrial software are a plus.

- Exposure to manufacturing environments or shop floor processes is beneficial.
