Technical Support Executive

Job Title: Hardware Engineer Location: Madurai, Tamil Nadu Company: JAS Infotech Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Hardware Engineer to join our technical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of CCTV systems, access control devices, networking hardware, and related equipment. Key Responsibilities: Install and configure CCTV cameras (IP/Analog), NVRs, DVRs, and POE switches Perform structured cabling, device mounting, and system testing Troubleshoot hardware and connectivity issues at client sites Maintain, repair, and replace defective equipment Support senior engineers in major surveillance and access control projects Maintain documentation of installation and service visits (ticketing systems/ERP) Coordinate with customer care and project coordinators for timely service Ensure all installations meet quality and safety standards Required Skills and Qualifications: Diploma/ITI/Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics, Electrical, or Computer Hardware 1–3 years of experience in CCTV/Surveillance/IT Hardware field Basic knowledge of IP networks, routers, and switches Hands-on experience in crimping, cable dressing, and testing Familiarity with brands like Hikvision, Dahua, and CP Plus is an advantage Ability to read and understand technical layouts and device placement drawings Good communication and problem-solving skills Willing to travel for field installations and services Preferred Qualifications: Certification in CCTV installation or computer hardware/networking Working knowledge of access control, biometrics, or intercom systems Experience in handling CRM/service ticketing tools Compensation & Benefits: Competitive salary (based on experience) Travel allowance and mobile reimbursement Incentives based on monthly performance Training and career growth opportunities Working Hours: Full-time – Monday to Saturday Fieldwork
