Technical Specialist - JAMF

You will be responsible for Patch Management for servers and end user devices (Windows & Mac, Laptops and Desktops). This includes reviewing all patches relevant to the IT environment, classifying how the patches should be installed as defined by IT policies, implementing documented processes for patch management, installing patches following change management processes, monitoring and reporting patch approval status, and making decisions on unpatched devices. Additionally, you will be involved in pre-testing patches, providing test and UAT user lists, synchronizing WSUS and MECM SUP, setting up ADR's, classifying types of patches, creating Software Update Groups and Deployment Packages, distributing Deployment Packages, conducting UAT of Software Updates, providing target lists for UAT and exceptions for mass rollout, cleaning SUP/MECM and JAMF, removing corresponding collections/packages, monitoring software vendors for patch releases, recommending patches to be rolled out based on criticality, providing test machines for patch testing, confirming compatibility of updates patches, automating deployment and support of all EUC software, installing Third Party-supplied corrections and patches, distributing and installing software upgrades, tailoring support to individual user needs, providing periodic reporting on software distribution and installation, providing Patch Management reports, carrying out attestation of CIS Benchmarking data, reviewing assessment data, and providing hosting of MECM Maintenance and comprehensive documentation pertaining to MAC OS security baseline compliance.
