Role Purpose

The " Technical Service Executive - CMB Electric Vehicles " position plays a key role between field service and HO co-ordination and there by ensuring product trouble free operation to enhance the customer satisfaction. This role is especially critical in the rapidly evolving EV industry, where technical expertise and customer support are both essential.

Job Description

1. Technical Expertise and Troubleshooting

Provides on-ground technical support for EVs, including diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance.

Ensures quick resolution of technical issues, minimizing vehicle downtime

Acts as a technical liaison between the customer and the engineering or R&D teams

2. Field Team Technical Support and Critical Complaint M1 Action Support & Routine Knowledge Transfer

Enhances the customer experience by offering prompt and Technical knowledgeable 7 SOP’s to field service team

Builds trust and loyalty to the customers by ensuring timely field implementation of product improvement and validating the effectiveness by taking the routine field feedback.

Educates field service team on EV Field Fix, Product Quality or Process Improvement and Other SOPs on charging, and maintenance best practices.

3. Feedback Loop for Product Improvement - EV PPFR's

Collects and reports Product-technical performance data and customer feedback though PPFR’s

Helps R&D and CQ to identify recurring issues and areas for product enhancement.

As a CFT members Supports in continuous improvement in EV design and service protocols.

4. New Product Development Service Technical Activities

Development of OBD tool - Coordination between Supplier and R&D on day to day validation

Conducting DFS and finalizing Special tools & equipment's

Supporting as a CFT team on AFT & CUFT Activities

Qualification

Diploma / BE in Electrical or Electronics Engineering / EV Technology or Renewable Energy (if available)

EV-specific certifications (e.g., from ARAI, ASDC, or OEM training programs)

Courses in Battery Management Systems (BMS), Motor Controllers, CAN Communication, etc.

Safety certifications for High Voltage Systems - If Available

Functional competency

EV-specific certifications (e.g., from ARAI, ASDC, or OEM training programs)

Courses in Battery Management Systems (BMS), Motor Controllers, CAN Communication, etc.

Safety certifications for High Voltage Systems - If Available
