Role Description

Technical SEO Freelancer

Requirements:

1. Technical SEO Expertise

• In-depth knowledge of crawling, indexing, rendering, and website architecture
• Experience with robots.txt, canonical tags, hreflang, sitemaps, structured data/schema markup
• Ability to identify and fix crawl errors, broken links, redirect issues, and duplicate content

2. Website Performance Optimization

• Proficient in improving Core Web Vitals (LCP, FID, CLS)
• Knowledge of lazy loading, image optimization, minification, and caching strategies
• Experience with CDN configurations

3. SEO Tools & Platforms

• Hands-on with tools like Google Search Console
• Experience with SEO platforms such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, and Google Analytics

4. CMS & Web Development Knowledge

• Familiarity with popular CMSs ( Webflow, etc.)
• Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and how they impact SEO

5. Data & Reporting Skills

• Ability to set up and interpret GA4, GSC, and SEO dashboards
• Skilled in analyzing logs, crawl data, and traffic trends
• Comfortable with Excel/Google Sheets for reporting

6. Problem Solving & Audit Capability

• Able to conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits
• Strong diagnostic and prioritization skills
• Proactive in identifying SEO issues and proposing scalable solutions

7. Collaboration & Communication

• Experience working with developers, content teams, and product teams
• Clear communication of technical issues to non-technical stakeholders

Education & Background

• Bachelor’s degree

   in Computer Science, Information Technology, Digital Marketing, or a related field (not mandatory, but preferred)

• Certifications

   in SEO, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, or similar are a plus

• 2+ years of experience

   in a Technical SEO or SEO Analyst role (flex based on seniority of the role)
