Technical Scrum Master

Job Description: As a Scrum Master at Aptimized, you will be responsible for leading and supporting Agile teams in Hyderabad to deliver high-quality software products. Your role as a servant-leader and coach is vital in driving Agile practices, fostering team collaboration, and ensuring continuous improvement in performance and delivery. Key Responsibilities: - Facilitate all core Scrum ceremonies: Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives. - Guide teams in Agile principles and best practices, promoting adherence to the Scrum framework. - Identify and remove impediments that affect team productivity and delivery. - Partner with Product Owners to manage and refine the product backlog. - Foster a culture of collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement. - Shield teams from external distractions and unplanned work. - Monitor team performance metrics (e.g., velocity, burndown charts) and report progress. - Support Agile maturity initiatives across the organization through coaching and mentoring. - Promote alignment and collaboration between development, QA, and business stakeholders. Qualifications: Required: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field. - 8+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar Agile role. - Certified Scrum Master (CSM, PSM I, or equivalent). - Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, especially Scrum and/or Kanban. Preferred: - Experience with Agile tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or Trello. - Familiarity with scaled Agile frameworks (e.g., SAFe, LeSS, Nexus). - Exposure to modern development platforms and technologies such as React, .NET, and Salesforce. - Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills. - Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
