Technical Scrum Master

Greetings from Aptimized! We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Scrum Master to join our team in Hyderabad, India on a Full-Time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and supporting Agile teams to deliver top-notch software products. Your role as a servant-leader and coach will be pivotal in driving Agile practices, encouraging team collaboration, and ensuring continuous enhancement in performance and delivery. As a Scrum Master, your main responsibilities will include facilitating essential Scrum ceremonies such as Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives. You will guide teams on Agile principles and best practices, ensuring adherence to the Scrum framework. It will also be your duty to identify and eliminate impediments that may hinder team productivity and delivery. Collaborating closely with Product Owners, you will be involved in managing and refining the product backlog. Moreover, fostering a culture of collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement will be key aspects of your role, along with shielding teams from external distractions and unplanned work. Monitoring team performance metrics like velocity and burndown charts to report progress will also fall under your purview. Additionally, you will support Agile maturity initiatives across the organization by providing coaching and mentoring, and promote alignment and collaboration between development, QA, and business stakeholders. To qualify for this position, you must hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field, along with a minimum of 8 years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar Agile role. A certification as a Scrum Master (CSM, PSM I, or equivalent) is mandatory, along with a strong understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum and/or Kanban. Experience with Agile tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, or Trello is preferred, as well as familiarity with scaled Agile frameworks such as SAFe, LeSS, or Nexus. Exposure to modern development platforms and technologies like React, .NET, and Salesforce will be advantageous. Excellent communication, facilitation, interpersonal skills, and strong problem-solving abilities are essential for success in this role.
