About the Role Job Title: Technical Sales Manager Reports to: Business Unit Head Job Overview: As the Technical Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing the respective Product Line in the specified region. This role involves leading a team of Product & Application Specialists and Salespersons, as well as spearheading technical and commercial discussions with customers to ensure successful closure of opportunities. Responsibilities Develop and manage sales budget and annual operating budget for the assigned product lines. Support the sales team members in achieving their individual targets by assisting in closing orders, addressing technical and application inquiries, and guiding them on new opportunities. Formulate and execute a Sales Plan for the assigned product lines. Ensure the sales team members receive proper training and continually enhance their skills. Establish monitoring systems to track product line performance, particularly in terms of Gross margin levels and Sales Pipeline. Collaborate with the marketing department to develop marketing strategies and ensure their implementation. Provide feedback to enhance the company's offerings based on market trends analysis and potential for increased order intake. Initiate, manage, and conclude National Purchasing agreements with major accounts. Conduct market and competitive analysis using relevant sources like marketing reports, research, publications, and conferences. Organize seminars, customer meetings, and workshops to enhance customer support. Oversee the submission and preparation of quotations and tender bids from both commercial and technical perspectives. Ensure customer satisfaction among users of instruments from the assigned product lines. Lead the sales team and ensure adherence to AP Sales Standards as outlined in the CRM Sales Wiki. Qualifications Minimum 10-12 years of prior experience in Product Management of Analytical Instruments. Overall experience of at least 14-18 years. Masters/Bachelors degree. Required Skills Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Essential interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, and organizational abilities. Demonstrated teamwork, determination, high self-motivation, and resilience. Strong commitment to ensuring customer satisfaction. Willingness to travel extensively throughout India.,
