Job Description

As the Poultry - Technical Sales Lead based at Karnal for Cargill's Animal Nutrition and Health business in India, your primary responsibility will be to assist the commercial team in providing technical solutions to clients and prospective customers. You will play a crucial role in helping them understand how Cargill can offer solutions to improve their profitability in the Punjab, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh regions. Key Responsibilities: - Assist the commercial team in establishing and nurturing effective partnerships with customers to retain existing business and acquire new ones. - Manage product demonstrations and trials, ensuring they meet the required specifications. - Utilize relevant Cargill digital services and tools to help farmers understand the benefits and work closely with the commercial and Strategic Marketing and Technology Team to capture value from the services. - Provide customers with nutritional guidance, including diet design and disease diagnosis during visits. - Build strong customer relationships at key geographical accounts within the assigned territory. - Identify customer requirements, recommend suitable services and products. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including strategic marketing technology, to develop and validate new products. - Conduct technical training for the commercial team. - Engage with sales and marketing leaders on customer segmentation, satisfaction, and account planning. - Perform any other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience. Preferred Qualifications: - Qualified B.V.Sc (Poultry Science) and Post Graduation in Animal Nutrition or Poultry Science. - 5 to 8 years of experience in the field. - Proficiency in speaking Hindi. - Willingness to travel at least 15 days every month. - Ability to build customer relationships and trust through technical knowledge and expertise.
