Job Description

As a Sales Engineer at Omicron, your main responsibility will be to seek and develop new business in the assigned territory. You will be expected to execute both long-term and short-term sales strategies to accelerate business growth. Your goal will be to grow sales and increase Omicron's market share in the region by understanding and analyzing market trends to achieve the target budget and identify future opportunities. In order to drive sales growth, you will aggressively seek new clients through sales and marketing strategies, interacting with contractors, consultants, and end customers in the designated region. Your success will be demonstrated through strong closing techniques and professional communication with potential clients. Moreover, you will need to develop long-term relationships with clients by managing and interpreting their requirements effectively. As part of your role, you will also identify and resolve client concerns, recommend appropriate courses of action, and persuade clients that Omicron's products best satisfy their needs in terms of quality, price, and delivery. It will be essential to expand market awareness of the company's products and industry experience by effectively communicating the features and benefits of the products and services. You will be required to sell Omicron's products, including instruments used to measure and control Pressure, Temperature, Flow, Level, Air Quality, and Water Quality to customers in the Automation Segment (Process/OEM/HVAC/BMS), Pharmaceutical Segment, and OEM. Additionally, you will need to maintain a strong knowledge of competitor products and report intelligence on competitor pricing and marketing strategies. Attending and participating in trade shows, conferences, and other marketing events will be part of your responsibilities. You will need to submit regular customer visit plans, schedule client meetings, and create action plans for follow-up. Traveling all over India will be a requirement for this role. To qualify for this position, you should have a B.E. in Instrumentation/Electronics, BE in Mechanical Engineering, or BTECH with 2-4 years of sales experience. Experience in selling instrumentation and sensors, as well as working in the HVAC and/or BMS industries, will be advantageous. A willingness to travel extensively, work 6 days a week, and maintain day shift hours is essential.
