Technical Sales Engineer


Role Summary

The Technical Sales Engineer is the vital link between Bridge Health’s engineering team and our clients. You’ll engage directly with pharmaceutical and chemical manufacturers to understand their production needs, scope system requirements, and prepare detailed proposals and quotations.

You’ll work with our internal process engineers to design optimized systems — from lab to pilot to full scale — and ensure the technical and financial accuracy of each proposal.


Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with clients to understand process specifications, capacity needs, and technical challenges.
  • Translate process requirements into preliminary system designs and cost models.
  • Collaborate with engineering to create proposals, quotes, and system layouts.
  • Prepare technical documentation, data sheets, and client presentations.
  • Support the sales team during client meetings and technical reviews.
  • Maintain pricing databases, vendor lists, and configuration templates for system components.
  • Provide feedback to engineering on client preferences and market trends.
  • Support installation or commissioning planning as required.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree

    in

    Chemical Engineering

    ,

    Mechanical Engineering

    , or a related discipline.
  • 3–7 years

    experience in

    process equipment design

    ,

    technical sales

    , or

    project engineering

    for pharma or fine chemical systems.
  • Strong understanding of

    reactors, crystallizers, filtration, drying, distillation, and automation

    in GMP environments.
  • Experience generating

    quotes and proposals

    for custom process systems.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and documentation skills.
  • Comfortable interacting with engineers, procurement specialists, and C-suite stakeholders.
  • Strong command of written and spoken English.


Preferred Experience

  • Familiarity with modular system fabrication or skid-mounted equipment.
  • Experience with costing, vendor management, or CAPEX estimation.
  • Exposure to validation and documentation processes for GMP facilities.
