Job Title: Technical Sales Engineer Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Technical Sales Engineer to join our team. This role is integral to our sales operations, focusing on client interactions and technical support. The Technical Sales Engineer will be responsible for understanding client requirements, recommending appropriate products, preparing technical and commercial quotes, and participating in tenders. This position demands excellent communication skills, a solid technical background, and a keen ability to drive sales and maintain strong client relationships. Key Responsibilities: Client Interaction: Engage with clients to understand their technical requirements and provide expert guidance on suitable products and solutions. Product Recommendation: Suggest appropriate products based on client needs and industry standards. Quotation Preparation: Develop and deliver detailed technical and commercial quotes to clients. Tender Participation: Actively participate in tenders, ensuring accurate and timely submission of required documents. Sales Target Achievement: Strive to meet and exceed sales targets through proactive client engagement and effective sales strategies. Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure long-term satisfaction and repeat business. Lead Follow Up: Follow up with potential clients regarding status of the offer. Required Qualifications: Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), or Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering (EIE). Experience: 1-3 years of experience in sales, preferably in a technical or engineering field. Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of flow and level measurement technologies and instrumentation. Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey technical information to clients. Preferred Qualifications: Local Candidates: Preference will be given to candidates based in Chennai or the surrounding regions. Industry Experience: Experience in sales within the instrumentation or automation industry. Customer Service Orientation: A strong focus on customer satisfaction and the ability to build lasting client relationships. Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze client needs and provide tailored solutions that meet their specific requirements.
