Job Description

Job Summary

  • Responsible for the sale of weather measuring & monitoring instruments, systems, sensors, dataloggers, etc.


Primary Responsibilities

  • § Sales of a variety of meteorological instruments to different businesses.
  • § Implement knowledge of the equipment sales cycle.
  • § Collect competitive information such as bid situations, pricing data, or bundling arrangements to establish negotiated pricing contracts for assigned products.
  • § Preparation of quotation as per the client's requirement.
  • § Good skills in communication and email writing. 
  • § Improve product knowledge and sales techniques.
  • § Travel throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders or talk with customers on the sales floor or by phone.
  • § Estimate delivery date to the customer, based on knowledge of the manufacturing department’s production and delivery schedules.
  • § Gathers, analyses, and delivers information from the field to allow the company to develop strategies and products appropriate to the Quality and Safety Testing market.
  • § Coordinate all issues with key clients between sales, service, support, customer services, marketing, and finance.
  • § Generating sales leads through cold calling and market research on social media sites.
  • § Self-motivated.
  • § Aware of Content Marketing tools.
