Role & responsibilities

About the Role:-
 Were seeking a results-driven Technical Recruiter to source, engage, and hire top IT talent for Australia-based roles across software engineering, cloud/devops, data, cybersecurity, and enterprise apps. You will be based in Hyderabad and work closely with Australia hiring managers, HR, and business leaders, ensuring a high-quality candidate experience and compliant hiring across Australian markets.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Full-cycle recruiting for Australia region:
  • Intake with hiring managers; define role requirements, competencies, and interview plans.
  • Source candidates via LinkedIn Recruiter, SEEK Talent Search, GitHub, Stack Overflow, Indeed AU, Jora, Hired, niche Slack/Discord communities, referrals, and talent pools.
  • Run targeted outreach, screen for technical/behavioral fit, and manage structured interviews.
  • Coordinate assessments, technical screens, and debriefs; drive decision-making and offers.
  • Pipeline building:
  • Build and maintain warm talent pools for priority roles and future requisitions.
  • Market map competitors, universities, and meetups for recurring skill needs.
  • Stakeholder management:
  • Advise hiring managers on market realities (comp ranges, timelines, talent availability).
  • Calibrate on profiles, share data-backed recommendations, and align on interview criteria.
  • Candidate experience:
  • Ensure timely communication, transparent process, and culturally aware interactions for Australia-based candidates.
  • Compliance and process excellence:
  • Maintain accurate ATS data; follow data privacy and fair hiring standards aligned with Australian practice.
  • Support background checks, reference checks, and work-right verification in Australia.
  • Reporting and metrics:
  • Track time-to-shortlist, time-to-offer, submittal-to-interview ratio, interview-to-offer ratio, offer acceptance rate, and quality-of-hire proxies.
  • Employer branding:
  • Localize job ads for the Australian market; partner with marketing/TA to amplify reach.

Required Qualifications

  • 3–6 years of technical recruiting experience, with at least 1–2 years hiring for Australia or comparable mature markets.
  • Demonstrated success filling roles such as: Software Engineer (Java/.NET/Node/Python), Frontend (React/Angular), Mobile (iOS/Android), DevOps/SRE, Cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), Data Engineering/Science, Security, Salesforce/SAP, and QA/Automation.
  • Strong sourcing capability (Boolean, X-ray, social and community sourcing) and experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and SEEK Talent Search.
  • Familiarity with Australian hiring norms: interview etiquette, notice periods, typical benefits, and salary packaging practices.
  • Experience using a modern ATS (e.g., Greenhouse, Lever, Workable) and collaboration tools (Google Workspace/Microsoft 365, Slack/Teams).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to influence stakeholders and close candidates.
