US IT Recruiter

Key Responsibilities:

· Source and screen potential IT candidates through job portals (Dice, Monster, CareerBuilder, LinkedIn, etc.), social media, and referrals.

· Understand the client requirements for technical and functional positions and create effective job descriptions.

· Perform initial screening interviews to evaluate technical skills, experience, and fit for the position.

· Coordinate interviews between candidates and clients, gather feedback, and follow up promptly.

· Negotiate salary, benefits, and other terms of employment with candidates.

· Maintain candidate tracking and documentation in the applicant tracking system (ATS).

· Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified IT professionals.

· Ensure compliance with client and company processes including background checks, employment verification, and onboarding.

· Stay updated on US work authorizations (US Citizens, GC, H1B, TN, OPT, CPT, etc.) and hiring policies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

· 5+ years of experience in US IT recruitment.

· Excellent knowledge of US tax terms (W2, C2C, 1099) and work visas.

· Strong understanding of IT technologies (Java, .NET, AWS, DevOps, SAP, etc.).

· Familiarity with job boards and sourcing tools (Dice, Monster, Indeed, LinkedIn Recruiter, etc.).

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

· Comfortable working in US time zones.
