Technical Product Owner – Healthcare (Provider Domain):
Location: PAN INDIA (4/5 days a week to Office)
Experience: 8–12 years
Grade: SA or M
Role Overview
The Technical Product Owner (Healthcare) will play a pivotal role in defining and delivering technology-enabled healthcare solutions within Provider segment. The role requires strong domain knowledge of healthcare provider workflows, EHR/EMR systems, interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR), and regulatory frameworks, combined with technical depth and agile product management expertise.
Key Responsibilities
Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring it reflects business priorities, technical dependencies, and regulatory compliance.
Collaborate with engineering, design, and architecture teams to translate healthcare requirements into clear technical stories and deliverables.
Work closely with healthcare provider clients, clinicians, and operations teams to understand their pain points, workflows, and technology needs.
Define and communicate the product vision, roadmap, and KPIs, ensuring alignment with Client’s strategic goals.
Lead Agile ceremonies (refinement, sprint planning, reviews) and ensure timely delivery of features that meet quality and compliance standards.
Partner with data, integration, and interoperability teams to ensure secure and efficient exchange of healthcare data (FHIR APIs, HL7 interfaces).
Evaluate new technologies and trends (AI/ML in healthcare, digital front door, virtual care) for inclusion in the product roadmap.
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations (e.g., Australian Digital Health Agency guidelines, HIPAA equivalence, privacy frameworks).
Required Skills & Experience
8+ years of experience in product management or ownership, with at least 4 years in healthcare technology (preferably provider side).
Strong understanding of provider domain—clinical workflows, scheduling, care coordination, telehealth, EHR/EMR systems, and patient management.
Hands-on experience working with FHIR, HL7, APIs, and interoperability frameworks.
Proven ability to work closely with technical teams and understand solution architecture, APIs, and system integrations.
Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments as a Product Owner or Technical Product Manager.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage business leaders, clinicians, and engineers alike.
Experience in working with cloud-based healthcare platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Biomedical Engineering, or Healthcare Informatics.
Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent Agile certification.
Exposure to AI-driven healthcare, analytics, or clinical decision support systems.
