Technical Lead - Salesforce

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Technical Lead – Salesforce to provide technical leadership and oversight in designing, developing, and implementing Salesforce solutions across Sales, Service, and Experience Clouds. This role involves managing and guiding a team of developers, ensuring adherence to Salesforce best practices, and delivering scalable, high-quality solutions. The ideal candidate will combine strong hands-on Salesforce expertise with proven leadership skills, the ability to collaborate across teams, and experience mentoring and managing team members.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and delivery of Salesforce solutions using declarative and custom development (Apex, LWC, Aura).
• Manage and mentor a team of developers, providing technical guidance, code reviews, and coaching.
• Define development standards, enforce best practices, and ensure quality code delivery across the team.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects, and other stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Oversee and support the use of CI/CD tools (e.g., Copado) for efficient release management.
• Manage source control processes (Git), review pull requests, resolve conflicts, and ensure proper branching strategies.
• Guide the team in implementing integrations using Salesforce APIs and standard integration patterns.
• Ensure proper implementation of Salesforce security and access models.
• Drive optimization of existing Salesforce environments and solutions for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Take ownership of troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and issue resolution.
• Provide support to QA and testing teams during validation cycles.
• Participate in architecture and design discussions, sprint planning, demos, and Agile ceremonies.
• Promote innovation, process improvements, and continuous learning within the team.
• Act as a key point of contact for stakeholders and manage cross-functional dependencies.
• Ensure compliance with governance and architectural standards.
• Develop team members’ technical and professional skills through coaching and training.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• Salesforce certifications: Administrator, Advanced Administrator, Platform Developer I & II (Architect certifications preferred).
• 8–10 years of Salesforce development and administration experience, with at least 2–3 years in a technical lead or managerial role.
• Strong expertise in Apex, SOQL, SOSL, Lightning Web Components, and Aura framework.
• Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Visualforce, and Salesforce flows.
• Advanced understanding of Salesforce security, sharing rules, and data modeling.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce APIs, REST/SOAP integrations, and event-driven architecture.
• Experience leading teams in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Proficiency in Git and source control processes, with experience in CI/CD tools like Copado.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Salesforce Architect-level certifications (e.g., Application or System Architect).
• Experience with SAFe Agile framework.
• Knowledge of dynamic forms, advanced record sharing, and secure coding practices on Salesforce.
• Ability to prepare and review system design documentation (flowcharts, wireframes, architecture diagrams).
• Proven experience mentoring developers and managing cross-functional teams.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
