Technical Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Security and Networking Technical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining network infrastructure and security systems such as CCTV, Video door phones, access control, intrusion alarms, access points, Network devices, Home automation devices, Intercom devices and Fire alarm devices . This role requires a solid understanding of networking fundamentals, security concepts, and hands-on technical experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain network devices (routers, switches, access points, etc.)
• Design, install, and configure security systems including:
• CCTV surveillance systems
• Access control systems
• Fire alarm systems
• Intrusion detection systems (IDS)
• Configure and manage firewalls and VPNs
• Perform regular network and security system audits
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
• Conduct site surveys and prepare technical documentation
• Work closely with project managers, sales teams, and clients to deliver solutions
• Provide technical support and maintenance to clients post-installation
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety, and security protocols

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Electronics, Electricals, Computer Science, IT, or related field
• 2+ years of experience in networking or security system installation
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, VLANs, routing, and switching
• Experience in handling firewalls, CCTV, access control, and alarm systems
• Certifications like CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent are a plus
• Basic knowledge of IT infrastructure and cybersecurity concepts
• Good problem-solving and communication skills
• Willingness to travel to project sites as required

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of structured cabling and rack installations
• Experience with IP-based CCTV and video management software (VMS)
• Familiarity with cloud-managed networking and security systems

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
