Job Description

As a Systems Engineer at Arcadis, you will play a crucial role in producing System Engineering plans and implementing various Systems Engineering processes such as requirements management, interface management, systems integration, assurance, verification, and validation, engineering safety, EMC, and RAMS. Your accountability will lie in delivering the Systems Engineering elements of projects within the set timelines, quality standards, and budgets. You will also be responsible for advising teams on adhering to System Engineering processes, training designers from different disciplines on applying requirements and technical assurance techniques, and providing Technical Assurance expertise to projects. Additionally, you will assist in developing system and software models, mentor junior systems engineers, manage requirements, interfaces, assumptions, risks, issues, system architectures, and contribute to consultancy assignments for clients. Your additional responsibilities will include providing technical advice, leading by example, communicating effectively with team members and stakeholders, enhancing productivity through improved processes, and ensuring maximum client satisfaction by championing client care. You will be accountable for scope definition, requirements, interface environment, working safely in the railway industry, requirements management, verification and validation principles, configuration management, and change control. Your qualifications should include a degree in a relevant Engineering subject, working knowledge of the Infrastructure industry, and being a Chartered Engineer. You should possess good communication and negotiation skills, analytical thinking, ability to present technical knowledge effectively, a good understanding of safety critical systems, and the capability to work cooperatively with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
