Technical Architect

Required Experience

• 10+ years in enterprise architecture/solutions architecture with

  proven NCR POS implementation

  experience at scale (multi-site/omnichannel).

Core Responsibilities

• Rapid discovery of current POS and upstream/downstream systems; identify integration gaps and risks.
• Define target architecture, data flows, and API/middleware patterns for high-scale, multi-store deployments.
• Advise on integration with

  payments

  (gateways, tokenization),

  finance/ERP

  ,

  loyalty/CRM

  ,

  inventory

  , and

  reporting/analytics

  .
• Establish non-functional baselines: performance, reliability, observability, security, compliance (e.g., PCI DSS), and disaster recovery.
• Provide implementation oversight and knowledge transfer to internal teams.

• Objective:

  Assess, design, and guide integration of NCR POS with internal systems (payments, finance/ERP, loyalty/CRM, inventory, data platforms) and establish a scalable reference architecture.

• Engagement:

  Independent consultant on an

  hourly basis

  to start; open to expanding into a broader advisory or implementation model based on fit.
