Mode of Work:   Hybrid  

Key Responsibilities:  

• Own the overall technical architecture for the Risk Management and Compliance portfolio.  
  
• Define and maintain architecture blueprints, data flow diagrams, and integration patterns across applications.  
  
• Provide technical design assistance and oversight for new initiatives and enhancements.  
  
• Evaluate emerging technologies, frameworks, and tools for potential adoption.  
  

• Establish and enforce coding standards, design principles, and documentation practices across teams.  
  
• Conduct regular architecture and code reviews to ensure compliance with enterprise and security standards.  
  
• Define quality gates in SDLC and ensure adherence through automation and DevOps integration.  
  

• Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for production incidents and ensure sustainable corrective measures.  
  
• Partner with delivery and support teams to enhance system resilience and monitoring.  
  
• Design rollback mechanisms and contingency plans for high-impact releases.  
  
• Release Management & Quality Control  
  
• Ensure releases are well-planned, version-controlled, and subjected to appropriate quality checks.  
  
• Establish pre- and post-deployment validation processes.  
  
• Support teams in implementing automated testing, CI/CD, and environment management.  
  

• Compile monthly and quarterly technical status reports summarizing portfolio health, risks, and improvement areas.  
  
• Identify technical debt and recommend modernization strategies.  
  
• Drive automation, performance optimization, and process simplification initiatives.
  

• Act as the go-to technical authority for project and support teams across Risk, Compliance, and Regulatory applications.  
  
• Partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable, efficient designs.  
  
• Provide mentorship and guidance to development and support teams.  
  

Required Skills and Qualification:  

• 10+ years in IT with at least 4 5 years as an Application or Technical Architect in the BFSI domain.  
  
• Deep understanding of Risk, Compliance, or Regulatory applications and frameworks.  
  
• Strong knowledge of Java / .NET, APIs, SQL, and enterprise integration patterns.  
  
• Experience with data modeling, ETL pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure preferred).  
  
• Understanding DevOps, CI/CD, microservices, and containerized environments.  
  
• Familiarity with Axiom, Scila, FIS KRT, Xceptor, or similar platforms is a strong plus.  
  
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.  
  
• Bachelor of Technology or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.  
  

Good to Have Skills:  

• Experience in enterprise architecture governance  
  
• Exposure to regulatory reporting platforms  
  
• Knowledge of performance tuning and optimization strategies
