We’re looking for a Tech Lead / Associate Engineering Manager who is passionate about building scalable products, leading teams, and working in a fast-paced startup environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end product development and deployment for the Proctor 365 platform.

• Manage, mentor, and grow a high-performing engineering team.

• Design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure system architectures.

• Contribute hands-on to coding, architecture design, and performance optimization.

• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, AI/ML, and DevOps teams.

• Stay current with emerging technologies and continuously improve system performance and team productivity.

Key Skills

• Strong problem-solving and system design expertise.

• Hands-on experience with:

◦ Backend: Node.js, Python

◦ Frontend: React.js

◦ Messaging & Streaming: WebSockets, RabbitMQ, Kafka

◦ Databases: MongoDB, PostgreSQL

◦ Caching & Monitoring: Redis, Kibana

◦ DevOps: CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes

• Familiarity with AI/ML model integration (preferred exposure to proctoring-related models):

◦ Face Detection – BlazeFace

◦ Face Recognition – w600k_r50

◦ Gaze Detection – MediaPipe

◦ Object Detection – YOLO

◦ Audio Classification – YAMNet

◦ Spoof Detection – SilentFace

Good to Have

• Experience working on AI-driven proctoring or edtech/proctoring platforms.

• Exposure to AI/ML model optimization or inference pipelines.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

• 8–12 years of experience in full-stack product development, including 2+ years in a team leadership or managerial role.

• Proven experience in building scalable, high-availability systems.
