Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Implement and manage data protection strategies to safeguard sensitive information.
  • Analyze and evaluate encryption technologies and security protocols to enhance data security.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to communicate complex security data effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Utilize tools such as Jira, SharePoint, and Power BI for project management and reporting.
  • Conduct encryption analysis and generate reports to assess the effectiveness of security measures.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in encryption technology and data protection.
  • Facilitate collaboration across different teams and departments to ensure comprehensive security practices.

Skills Required:

  • Strong understanding of data protection principles and secure data handling practices
  • Hands-on experience with encryption algorithms such as AES, RSA, SHA, and ECC
  • Familiarity with key management systems (KMS) and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)
  • Experience working with security protocols like TLS, SSL, IPsec, and HTTPS
  • Proficient in using tools such as Jira, SharePoint, and Power BI for documentation, project tracking, and reporting
  • Analytical mindset for conducting encryption analysis and preparing detailed reports
  • Ability to communicate technical security concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Knowledge of compliance frameworks and regulations related to data security (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001)
  • Awareness of emerging threats and industry trends in cybersecurity and encryption
