Job Summary:

Wish Geeks Techserve Pvt Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Leader – Full Stack Developer (MERN Stack) to lead a team of developers in building scalable, high-performance web applications. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in the MERN stack along with leadership experience, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a passion for mentoring team members. You will be responsible for overseeing the development lifecycle, ensuring code quality, and driving technical innovation within the team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of full stack developers in planning, developing, testing, and deploying web applications using the MERN Stack.
• Architect and design scalable front-end and back-end solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UI/UX designers, product managers, and QA engineers.
• Guide the team through technical challenges and ensure timely delivery of high-quality code.
• Conduct code reviews, ensure best coding practices, and provide constructive feedback.
• Oversee deployment processes on AWS and VPS environments and optimize performance and security.
• Set coding standards and contribute to improving the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Mentor junior developers and support skill development within the team.
• Ensure data protection, web application security, and compliance with best practices.
• Monitor project timelines, task assignments, and team performance metrics.
• Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and project planning.

Key Skills & Qualifications (Required):

• 3+ years of experience in full stack development, with at least 1+ year in a team lead or senior developer role.
• Proficient in MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js, and Next.js.
• Strong understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), REST APIs, and asynchronous programming.
• Deep experience in API design, microservices architecture, and data modeling.
• Proficient in application deployment on AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, etc.) and VPS environments (e.g., using Nginx, PM2, Apache).
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps processes, and version control (Git).
• Strong knowledge of web performance optimization, responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Expertise in web security, authentication (JWT, OAuth), and authorization mechanisms.
• Familiar with agile methodologies, sprint planning, and project tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Exposure to GraphQL, TypeScript, or modern testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Cypress).
• Experience in mentoring, training, and evaluating development teams.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to manage client or stakeholder communication when needed.
