Team Leader

Job Title: Team Leader – Grocery & FMCG Location: Raipur Reports To: Store Manager / Area Manager Employment Type: Full-time Experience Required: 1+ years in retail/FMCG, with at least 2 years in team lead role Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Store Manager to lead our grocery and FMCG retail outlet. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing store operations, optimizing customer experience, supervising staff, and driving sales and profitability. This role requires a hands-on leader with excellent operational, organizational, and people management skills. Key Responsibilities:Oversee daily store operations, ensuring efficient functioning across all departments. Lead, motivate, and manage a team of store staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations. Monitor and achieve sales targets, KPIs, and profitability goals. Ensure high standards of customer service and resolve customer issues promptly. Manage inventory levels, stock replenishment, and minimize wastage or shrinkage. Coordinate with suppliers and ensure timely procurement of products. Implement merchandising and promotional strategies to increase footfall and sales. Maintain store cleanliness, hygiene, and visual appeal according to brand guidelines. Ensure compliance with health & safety, legal, and company policies and procedures. Prepare and present regular sales and operational reports to management. Qualifications & Skills:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field (preferred). Proven experience in retail management, especially in grocery and FMCG sectors. Strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills. Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational abilities. Proficiency in retail software systems and MS Office. Customer-oriented with a passion for delivering exceptional service. Working Conditions:May require weekend and holiday shifts. Physical presence on the shop floor during operational hours is essential.
