Team Management & Leadership

Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of Direct Sales Executives to achieve individual and team sales targets.
Conduct regular performance reviews, provide coaching, and facilitate skill development.
Monitor daily activities, call productivity, funnel management, and conversion rates.

2. Sales Strategy & Execution

Implement and refine direct channel sales strategies aligned with organizational goals.
Drive high-quality lead management, follow-up accuracy, and timely closure of opportunities.
Ensure optimal usage of CRM tools, scripts, and sales processes.

3. Customer Engagement & Experience

Ensure sales teams deliver a superior customer experience during the policy-buying journey.
Oversee handling of customer queries, objections, and escalations.
Promote cross-selling, upselling, and advisory-based selling of health insurance products.

4. Compliance & Quality Assurance

Ensure adherence to IRDAI guidelines, company compliance standards, and ethical sales practices.
Conduct regular audits of calls, documentation, and application processes.
Ensure 100% accuracy in proposal forms and data capture.

5. Reporting & Analytics

Track daily/weekly/monthly sales performance and report key metrics to management.
Analyze performance patterns, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions.
Support forecasting, pipeline management, and business planning activities.

6. Cross-Functional Collaboration

Coordinate with underwriting, operations, product, digital, and marketing teams to resolve issues and enhance conversion.
Provide feedback to product and marketing teams for improving offerings and customer journeys.
