Tax Senior Manager

Key Responsibilities: - Lead the establishment and management of a centralized VAT compliance function serving multiple regions. - Develop best practices, policies, and frameworks for VAT reporting, filings, and reconciliations. - Implement automation tools and maintain an indirect tax engine to streamline VAT compliance processes. - Ensure accurate and timely VAT filings and reporting in compliance with global and regional regulations. - Act as a trusted advisor to tax, finance, and business partners on VAT compliance matters. Qualification Required: - Doctorate degree and 6 years of tax experience OR Masters degree and 8 years of tax experience OR Bachelors degree and 12 years of tax experience. - Academic degree or equivalent diploma in Accounting / Finance, Tax Law, or Tax Economics. - 6-8 years of experience in a VAT advisory role with emphasis on supply chain/manufacturing in Big Four accounting firms or large multi-national companies. - Demonstrated capability to learn quickly, high level of analytical skills, and attention to detail. - Strong interpersonal skills, team player, and highly customer-focused. - Experience in VAT and GST within an international VAT compliance team. - Proficiency in SAP, preferred Master degree in Business Taxation, and high level in local language or any other major language.
