Tally Operator

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Tally Operator with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in FMCG distribution billing and accounting. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in managing end-to-end accounts, GST billing, and financial documentation through Tally ERP, with strong knowledge of distributor-level accounting and stock management. Key Responsibilities: Prepare accurate sales invoices, purchase bills, debit/credit notes, and delivery challans using Tally. Handle GST billing, e-invoicing, and taxation-related entries as per statutory compliance. Maintain and reconcile customer and supplier ledgers, ensuring accuracy of outstanding balances. Manage accounts payable and receivable, track payments, and update daily collections. Reconcile bank statements and assist in monthly and yearly financial closures. Record and monitor inventory movements (inward, outward, returns, damages) and generate stock reports. Coordinate with the sales and delivery teams to ensure smooth billing and order dispatch. Assist in preparing MIS reports, profit & loss statements, and other financial reports for management. Maintain proper filing and documentation of all financial records for audits and compliance. Implement FMCG-specific schemes, discounts, and offers accurately during billing. Required Qualifications & Skills: Graduate in Commerce/Accounting or equivalent. Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Tally Operator in FMCG distribution or trading. Proficiency in Tally ERP9 / Tally Prime, MS Excel, and GST compliance. Strong knowledge of FMCG billing cycles, schemes, credit policies, and distributor accounting practices. Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently, handle multiple tasks, and meet strict deadlines. Job Type: Full-time
