Job Description

Tally Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

Record day-to-day financial transactions in
Tally ERP/Prime
.
Prepare and maintain
ledgers, journals, cash book, and vouchers
.
Handle
accounts payable/receivable
and reconcile vendor and customer accounts.
Manage
bank reconciliation
and petty cash.
Prepare and file
GST, TDS, PF, ESI returns
and ensure statutory compliance.
Assist in
monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing
of accounts.
Generate
MIS reports, balance sheet, profit & loss account, trial balance
.
Coordinate with auditors during audits.
Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records.
Support management with
financial analysis and cost control reports
.

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in
Commerce/Accounting/Finance
(B.Com/M.Com).
Proven experience as an
Accountant
with hands-on expertise in
Tally ERP/Prime
.
Good knowledge of
GST, TDS, and Indian accounting standards
.
Strong
MS Excel skills
for data handling and reporting.
Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of
inventory management in Tally
.
Experience in
banking transactions, LC/loans, payroll entries
.
Good communication and coordination skills.

Work Environment:

Office setting with a focus on phone and computer work.
May require flexible hours to accommodate client schedules.
