You'll be a marketer, but you'll be part of our Talent Acquisition team, partnering with employees across the business to help Avalara stand out in a competitive hiring market.
You will report to the Talent Brand and Marketing Manager and will be a hybrid remote / in-office role. You'll be based in our world-class facility in Pune and required to be in the office 2-3 days per week to engage with our employees and create content with them.
You'll frequently organize small shoots and produce videos that feature our teams, talk about our roles, and highlight our employee experience, editing everything from short clips for LinkedIn to longer-form content for YouTube or internal use.

You'll design visual assets for recruiting campaigns, including slides, social content, and digital collateral.
You'll write short, clear, candidate-facing content to support your videos and designs.
You'll build and manage a project intake process, and own feedback and approval loops with hiring teams and approvers, tracking deliverables and keeping work on brand.
You will be comfortable helping everyone, from C-Suite to interns, tell great stories.
You will move quickly and generate a lot of content. You'll be strong in your creative skills, ability to manage partners, and a desire to see your work published.
What You'll Need to be SuccessfulAbility to write clear, brief, candidate-facing content
A portfolio of creative work across video and design
Experience working on recruitment marketing, employer brand, or creative projects for a business audience
Comfort switching between different projects and quickly working through feedback rounds
Bonus: experience with motion graphics, animation, or 3D tools
