Role Overview

Talent Acquisition Specialist

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the complete recruitment lifecycle, from workforce planning and sourcing to selection and onboarding.
  • Partner closely with business leaders and HR stakeholders to understand manpower requirements, job specifications, and hiring priorities.
  • Source candidates through multiple channels including LinkedIn, job portals, recruitment agencies, campus hiring, and employee referrals.
  • Draft clear and compelling job descriptions aligned with business and role requirements.
  • Conduct initial screening, interviews, and assessments to evaluate candidates’ technical capabilities, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs across functions and locations.
  • Promote employer branding initiatives through social media, recruitment marketing campaigns, and innovative sourcing strategies, particularly within the Oil & Gas and Manufacturing sectors.
  • Track and analyze recruitment metrics such as time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, source effectiveness, and quality of hire.
  • Prepare and share regular recruitment reports, insights, and improvement recommendations with stakeholders.
  • Ensure recruitment processes are compliant with company policies, Indian labor laws, and industry best practices.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 3–5 years of experience in Talent Acquisition
  • Prior experience in Oil & Gas (Operations & Maintenance) or Manufacturing industry is highly preferred
  • Experience handling high-volume hiring as well as niche and specialized roles
  • Exposure to multi-product, multi-location organizations is an added advantage
  • Strong understanding of hiring practices in India and labor law compliance
  • Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HRMS tools
  • Knowledge of current talent acquisition trends, sourcing strategies, and recruitment technologies
