Junior IT Talent Acquisition Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in end-to-end recruitment for junior to mid-level IT roles.
• Coordinate with hiring managers to understand job requirements and candidate profiles
• Source candidates using job portals, LinkedIn, databases, employee referrals, and other sourcing methods
• Screen resumes and conduct initial candidate outreach and phone screenings
• Schedule and coordinate interviews with hiring teams and candidates
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
• Ensure a positive candidate experience through timely communication and follow-ups
• Support offer rollouts, documentation, and pre-boarding activities
• Participate in job fairs, campus recruitment drives, and employer branding activities as needed
• Work flexibly in shifts to support different time zones or hiring needs across teams
• Stay updated with current trends in IT recruitment and market intelligence.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field
• 1 - 3 years of experience in talent acquisition, preferably with exposure to IT/technical hiring
• Basic understanding of common IT roles, skills, and terminology
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to shifting priorities
• Familiarity with ATS platforms and sourcing tools (LinkedIn, Naukri, etc.) is an advantage
• Willingness to work from the office and accommodate flexible/rotational shifts

Preferred Skills:

• Prior experience hiring for technical roles in a fast-paced environment
• Exposure to campus hiring or mass recruitment drives
• Strong follow-up and coordination skills
• Interest in growing a career in technical recruitment
