Systems Team Lead,

Lucy Electric Manufacturing Technologies, Halol (LEMT)

Key Accountabilities:

• To lead a team of engineers to provide pre-contract support to Sales creating cost effective solutions for our range of RTUs – both as standalone systems and integrated in switchgear
• To lead a team of engineers to provide internally or customer funded RTU solutions post contract
• To lead a team of engineers to provide pre-contract support to Sales creating cost effective solutions for SCADA/electrical network solutions
• To lead a team of engineers to provide customer funded SCADA/electrical network solutions post contract
• Identify new technologies/techniques with potential to enhance products, services, processes, etc.
• To undertake any other duties and responsibilities as required / instructed in order to maintain and / or improve the efficiency, quality and service of the department.
  

Minimum Qualification, Experience And Skills

Engineering Degree with 8+ years of experience

Functional Competencies

• Knowledge of electrical distribution networks
• Experience of engineering team management
• Project management/planning
• Version control (design docs, etc)
• Modern embedded electronics systems development
• Knowledge of international standards
• Thorough knowledge of MS Office applications, including Word, Excel & Project
  

Desirable Competencies

• Experience in a range of technologies including digital, analog, and power electronics.
• Knowledge of comms protocols IEC 60870-101/103/104 and DNP 3.0 particularly those used within the sector.
• Knowledge of design tools, CAE/CAD, software dev tools, etc.
• Telecomms and networking

• Knowledge of common business practices/structures
