Systems Team Lead

As a Systems Team Lead at Lucy Electric Manufacturing Technologies in Halol, Gujarat, you will play a crucial role in leading the solutions engineering team at the Automation Technology Centre. Your responsibilities will encompass both contract engineering and systems engineering, ensuring the efficient delivery of cost-effective solutions for RTUs and SCADA/electrical network solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Lead a team of engineers to provide pre-contract support to Sales for creating cost-effective solutions for RTUs, both standalone and integrated in switchgear - Manage a team to deliver internally or customer-funded RTU solutions post-contract - Oversee a team in providing pre-contract support for SCADA/electrical network solutions - Guide engineers in delivering customer-funded SCADA/electrical network solutions post-contract - Identify and evaluate new technologies and techniques to enhance products, services, and processes - Undertake any additional duties as necessary to enhance departmental efficiency, quality, and service Qualifications Required: - Engineering Degree with a minimum of 8 years of experience - Proficiency in knowledge of electrical distribution networks - Demonstrated experience in engineering team management - Strong project management and planning skills - Familiarity with version control for design documentation - Expertise in modern embedded electronics systems development - Understanding of international standards - Thorough knowledge of MS Office applications, including Word, Excel & Project Desirable Skills: - Experience in various technologies including digital, analog, and power electronics - Knowledge of communication protocols such as IEC 60870-101/103/104 and DNP 3.0 - Proficiency in design tools, CAE/CAD, and software development tools - Understanding of telecomms and networking - Basic knowledge of accounting practices - Familiarity with common business practices and structures In addition to the technical qualifications, the ideal candidate for this role should exhibit the following behavioral competencies: - Collaborative approach to teamwork - Proactive attitude towards problem-solving - Innovative thinking to drive ideas forward - Attention to detail in all aspects of work - Self-motivated and able to work independently - Excellent communication skills This role as a Systems Team Lead at Lucy Electric offers a dynamic opportunity to lead a team of engineers in developing cutting-edge solutions for RTUs and SCADA/electrical network systems.
