As a Systems Team Lead at Lucy Electric in Halol, Vadodara, Gujarat, you will have the opportunity to lead the solutions engineering team in the Automation Technology Centre (ATC) at Lucy Electric Manufacturing Technologies. Your role will encompass two key areas - contract engineering and systems engineering. In this position, your main responsibilities will include leading a team of engineers to provide pre-contract support to Sales by creating cost-effective solutions for a range of RTUs, both as standalone systems and integrated in switchgear. Additionally, you will lead the team in providing internally or customer-funded RTU solutions post-contract, as well as pre-contract support for SCADA/electrical network solutions. Identifying new technologies and techniques that can enhance products, services, and processes will also be a key part of your role. To be successful in this role, you should hold an Engineering Degree with a minimum of 8 years of experience. Your functional competencies should include knowledge of electrical distribution networks, experience in engineering team management, project management and planning skills, version control, modern embedded electronics systems development, knowledge of international standards, and proficiency in MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Project. Desirable competencies for this role include experience in a range of technologies including digital, analog, and power electronics, knowledge of communication protocols such as IEC 60870-101/103/104 and DNP 3.0, familiarity with design tools like CAE/CAD and software development tools, expertise in telecomms and networking, understanding of accounting practices, and knowledge of common business practices/structures. In addition to technical skills, behavioral competencies are crucial for this role. You should be collaborative, proactive, innovative, possess problem-solving skills, have attention to detail, be able to drive ideas/projects forward, self-motivated, able to work independently, and have excellent communication skills.
