Responsibilities

• Provision and maintain cloud resources on Google Cloud Platform following security and scalability standards
• Collaborate on management and patching of Google Kubernetes Engine clusters and container OS versions
• Execute infrastructure changes and onboarding processes using Terraform
• Monitor logs and metrics to identify and resolve performance or availability issues promptly
• Troubleshoot recurring cloud infrastructure problems and develop automation scripts and runbooks
• Assist in backup scheduling, validation, and resolution of backup-related problems
• Support governance by managing access controls and ensuring tagging compliance
• Implement automation tools for resource tagging enforcement and cloud resource monitoring
• Work closely with client teams to address infrastructure incidents and provide technical insights
• Maintain and update operational documentation including manuals, runbooks, and scripts

Requirements

• Experience of 4 to 5 years in cloud operations with hands-on work in Google Cloud Platform environments
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code practices and proficiency with Terraform
• Understanding of containerized environments, including Google Kubernetes Engine and Docker
• Skills in cloud monitoring tools and troubleshooting infrastructure performance issues
• Competency in access management principles and governance processes in cloud environments
• Strong problem-solving abilities with collaborative teamwork experience
