Systems Administrator II, IT Infrastructure

The Systems Administrator II role at Ryan offers an exciting opportunity to maintain and manage server computing and storage platforms. Your responsibilities will include installation, configuration, preventive maintenance, operation, and problem-resolution activities to ensure the smooth functioning of our systems. You will play a crucial role in creating a positive team experience by receiving cross-training from other members of the Information Technology department. Additionally, you will proactively update work status to the US / India liaison and respond to client inquiries and requests from tax authorities. Your value to the team will be demonstrated through proactive monitoring and support of all systems equipment and software to ensure high availability, maintenance and support of various Ryan applications, server clustering, computer security, and disaster-recovery planning. You will also contribute to efficiency improvements through process automation and assist the Help Desk as a PC specialist when needed. To excel in this role, you should possess a high school diploma or GED, along with three to five years of related systems administrator experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, Outlook, Internet navigation, systems administration tools, and scripting and automation tools is essential for success in this position. While not mandatory, certifications in Windows Server, Microsoft Exchange, EMC Storage, and Active Directory are preferred. This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities and will require occasional long periods of sitting while working at the computer, as well as regular interaction with employees and external vendors.
