Job Description

As a Computer Systems Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining the company's computer systems to ensure smooth operations. Your responsibilities will include installing and configuring hardware and software, providing technical support, and troubleshooting issues promptly. Key Responsibilities: - Install and configure computer hardware, software, networking devices, printers, and scanners - Provide technical support, firewall maintenance, and security across the company - Monitor, diagnose, and troubleshoot computer systems, resolving network issues - Respond promptly to internal service issues and requests - Set up workstations, usernames, passwords, email accounts, and firewall access for new employees - Repair or replace equipment when necessary - Perform data archiving, system backups, and data transfer/exchange - Manage budget, purchase new systems and hardware, and coordinate with vendors - Work with Linux operating systems, installation, and troubleshooting - Proactively prevent system breakdowns and failures Preferred Skills: - Proficiency in Fortigate firewalls, Cyberroam, Git, GitHub, and Bitbucket - Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification - Knowledge of advanced technologies like cloud computing, Docker, Kubernetes, and endpoint management solutions Personal Qualities: - Logical thought process and ability to troubleshoot complex problems - Analytical skills to uncover configuration issues - Experience in debugging applications and implementing upgrades - Adherence to deadlines and ability to prioritize critical system issues - Attention to detail and effective communication skills This is a full-time position with benefits such as internet reimbursement and paid sick time. The work shift is during the day with weekend availability required. The work location is in person.,
