We are looking for Senior Systems Engineer(L1 & L2 Support) who is motivated and experienced IT Infrastructure Operations Consultant to join our Level 1 and Level 2 operations team based in Mumbai The candidate will have to ensure the stability and efficiency of our IT infrastructure, while also contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. Candidate will work closely with global IT teams and support day-to-day operations across a variety of technologies (VMware, Windows/Linux servers, backup and monitoring tools, etc.) This role is crucial in maintaining the operational excellence of our services. “ LocationMumbai Suburban, India Work ModeWork From Office ’ RoleSr System Engineer L1 & L2 What Are We Looking For 5 to 7 years of experience in IT infrastructure operations, including at least 2 years in Level 2 activities. Good knowledge of Windows Server and/or Linux (Red Hat). Experience with VMware vSphere/vCenter Familiarity with backup and monitoring tools (NetBackup, Cohesity, Zabbix, etc.) is a plus Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell or other scripting tools) is appreciated Experience working with ITSM tools like ServiceNow Strong understanding of operational processes and service-oriented mindset Good communication skills and ideally a previous experience of collaboration with an European company Nice to have knowledge of NetApp storage systems and Cohesity What You'll Do Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support on IT infrastructure incidents and requests, following ITIL-based operational processes. Monitor systems and respond to alerts using tools like Zabbix, LogInventory, and ServiceNow. Perform recurring operational tasks such as server provisioning/decommissioning, backups monitoring (NetBackup/Cohesity), and patch management. Escalate and collaborate with Level 3 teams when required, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication. Maintain accurate documentation and update the CMDB accordingly.
