🛠️ About the Role

Offshore Systems Engineer

You’ll be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our offshore systems, ensuring high availability, security, and performance across virtualized and cloud-based environments.

🔑 Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage

  VMware-based infrastructure

  across offshore environments.
• Support and enhance

  Azure cloud services

  , including virtual networks, VMs, storage, and identity.
• Monitor system performance and proactively implement improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration between on-prem and cloud systems.
• Stay current with

  emerging technologies

  , recommending and implementing upgrades or new tools.
• Ensure compliance with security and operational standards.
• Provide Tier 2/3 support and incident resolution for offshore systems.
• Document configurations, procedures, and best practices.

🧠 Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience with

  VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter

  , and related tools.
• Strong knowledge of

  Microsoft Azure

  , including IaaS, PaaS, and hybrid cloud setups.
• Familiarity with

  PowerShell

  ,

  Terraform

  , or other automation tools.
• Understanding of

  networking

  ,

  firewalls

  , and

  security protocols

  in offshore environments.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with remote teams.
• Passion for

  technology trends

  , with a proactive approach to learning and applying new solutions.

• Azure or VMware certifications (e.g.,

  AZ-104

  VCP

  )
• Experience in

  containerization

  (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Exposure to
