System Analyst - Java/Spring

Roles And Responsibilities

System Analysis & Design :

Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Design and implement scalable, efficient, and robust systems.

Java & Spring Boot Development :

Develop and maintain Java-based applications, utilizing Spring Boot for backend services and microservices Development : Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions using PL/SQL to interact with Oracle Scripting : Write and maintain shell scripts to automate routine system tasks, backups, monitoring, and deployment in Linux environments.

System Integration :

Integrate new system components and applications with existing systems using RESTful APIs and Web Services.

Performance Optimization :

Identify bottlenecks and implement performance improvements across the Java and database layers to ensure high scalability and low latency.

Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution :

Provide technical support, diagnose issues, and resolve defects across the system stack. Act as a key point of contact for critical system issues in production.

Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams :

Collaborate with developers, testers, and business analysts to ensure smooth implementation and deployment of applications.

Code Review & Best Practices :

Perform peer code reviews, follow industry best practices for code quality, and ensure compliance with coding standards.

Documentation & Reporting :

Maintain thorough documentation of system architecture, designs, processes, and troubleshooting guides. Prepare and present regular progress reports to stakeholders.(ref:hirist.tech)
