Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and versatile System Administrator to manage and maintain our company's IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on professional with a broad skill set, capable of providing comprehensive support for desktops, laptops, and various software applications, while also handling network administration, data security, hardware maintenance, and physical security systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Desktop & Laptop Support:

• Technical support for all desktop and laptop users, addressing hardware and software issues promptly. Perform operating system (OS) installations.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot various software applications, including Tally, ERP systems, and other business-critical software.

Hardware Management:

• Perform hardware troubleshooting, repairs, and installations for desktops, laptops, and peripherals. Conduct hardware upgrades, including changing UPS batteries, and upgrading components such as motherboards, hard drives, and RAM.
• Maintain and manage biometric attendance devices at various locations, ensuring their proper functioning and data synchronization.

Network & Security Management:

• Administer and maintain the company's network infrastructure, including LAN support, routing, and switching. Manage firewalls to ensure network and data security.
• Perform periodic data backups and develop DR plans to safeguard critical information.
• Monitor network performance and security logs to identify and mitigate potential threats.

CCTV System Management:

• Administer, monitor, and maintain CCTV systems (IP and/or analog cameras).
• Manage and maintain video footage storage, including periodic backups and archiving as per company policy.

General IT Administration:

• Manage user accounts, credentials, and access rights.
• Document IT procedures, system configurations, and technical manuals.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of working experience.
• Strong knowledge of desktop and laptop hardware components and troubleshooting techniques. Proficiency in installing, configuring, and managing Windows OS.
• Experience with network management, firewalls, and security protocols.
• Experience with the administration and maintenance of CCTV systems.
• Familiarity with common business software like Tally.
• Knowledge of data backup and recovery procedures.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
