Job Description

About The Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Symfony Developer with strong experience in OroCommerce and Elasticsearch to join our product-driven engineering team. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on expertise in building scalable applications, diagnosing performance bottlenecks, and delivering clean, maintainable code. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance our ecommerce platform, implement new features, optimize performance, and ensure a smooth user experience.Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and optimize applications using the Symfony framework.
Utilize the Symfony Profiler and related debugging tools to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve performance issues.
Implement, configure, and optimize Elasticsearch for application search and data indexing needs.
Work on OroCommerce, including custom module development, feature extensions, system integrations, and version upgrades.
Investigate and resolve application bottlenecks across backend, database, and infrastructure layers.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and QA to deliver high-quality features in a fast-paced environment.
Follow best practices for scalable architecture, clean code, and maintainable software design.
Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong hands-on experience with Symfony (3.x, 4.x, 5.x, or 6.x).
Proficiency using Symfony Profiler, debugging tools, and performance tuning techniques.
Practical experience implementing and optimizing Elasticsearch.
Hands-on experience working with OroCommerce, including customization and upgrades.
Strong understanding of scalable system architecture and application performance optimization.
Solid grasp of clean coding principles (SOLID, DRY, etc.) and best development practices.
Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, product-focused, fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving skills with an analytical mindset.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice To Have)

Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or other container/orchestration tools.
Knowledge of message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka).
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows.
Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, or distributed systems.
