Node.js Developer

Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Backend Node.js Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of experience in developing scalable, high-performance backend applications and RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.js. This role requires a deep understanding of backend development and the ability to work collaboratively in an Agile environment. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain backend RESTful services using Node.js and Express.js. Design and implement RESTful APIs and ensure their performance, security, and scalability. Design and develop microservices using Node.js and Docker. Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. Work closely with DevOps to deploy applications and manage cloud infrastructure. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards. Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance and resolve issues. Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. 3 to 5 years of professional experience in backend development with Node.js and Express.js. Understanding of RESTful API design principles and best practices. Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript. Strong understanding of JavaScript, TypeScript, and Object-Oriented Programming concepts. Experience with frameworks such as Express.js. Proficiency in working with SQL databases like MS SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL. Proficiency in working with NoSQL databases like Cosmos DB or MongoDB. Knowledge of using Redis cache. Good understanding of design patterns and SOLID principles. Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes. Experience with Azure cloud platforms. Knowledge of Azure repository version control. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in a team. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Understanding of serverless computing. Optional Technical Skills Experience with GraphQL. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools. Familiarity with microservices architecture.
