Job Description

Job Summary

Node.js Developer

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js.
Collaborate with Canadian BFSI clients to gather requirements and deliver robust solutions.
Integrate APIs and third-party services securely and efficiently.
Ensure high performance and responsiveness of applications.
Work closely with frontend developers, QA teams, and DevOps engineers.
Maintain code quality through unit testing and code reviews.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.

Required Skills

Strong proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript.
Experience with Express.js, NestJS, or similar frameworks.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven architecture.
Knowledge of databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
Understanding of BFSI compliance and data protection standards.
Experience with cloud platforms (preferably Azure or AWS).
Version control using Git and CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelors or masters degree in computer science or related field.
Prior experience working with Canadian BFSI clients or projects.
Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
