Node.js Developer

As an API Developer at the company, your role will involve the following responsibilities: - Develop clean, scalable, and secure REST APIs using NodeJS or NestJS. - Write modular and reusable backend components. - Integrate third-party services, authentication workflows, and microservices. - Ensure API response consistency, error handling, and version control. In terms of Backend Architecture and Logic, you will be responsible for: - Designing, structuring, and maintaining backend architecture following industry best practices. - Implementing business logic, middleware, interceptors, and background jobs. - Optimising data flow between backend services, databases, and external APIs. For AWS Deployment & DevOps Tasks, your tasks will include: - Deploying NodeJS/NestJS applications on AWS EC2, ECS, Lambda, or Elastic Beanstalk. - Configuring load balancers, auto-scaling groups, CloudWatch logs, and security groups. - Maintaining and optimising CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions or AWS CodePipeline. - Monitoring uptime, performance, and server health. When it comes to Database Management, you will be expected to: - Work with relational or NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB. - Write efficient queries and ensure database performance tuning. - Handle migrations, indexing strategies, and schema updates. In terms of System Maintenance & Support, your duties will involve: - Troubleshooting backend issues, hotfixing bugs, and improving performance. - Conducting code reviews and following best practices for code quality. - Maintaining API documentation and contributing to internal technical guides. - Ensuring security best practices, including JWT, OAuth, and data protection.
