Position Title: Sustainability &ESG Head

Location: Kolkata

Qualification : Any B.Tech

Experience 10+ Years

1. Strategy & Policy Leadership

• Develop and drive the company's

  sustainability vision, strategy, and roadmap

  .
• Integrate sustainability into

  business planning, operations, and decision-making

  .
• Set measurable goals aligned with

  ESG standards, UN SDGs, and global best practices

  .

2. Compliance & Risk Management

• Ensure compliance with all

  environmental, social, and governance regulations

  (local and international).
• Monitor risks related to

  climate change, resource use, social responsibility, and community relations

  .
• Act as the main point of contact with

  regulators, auditors, and certification bodies

  .

3. Environmental Stewardship

• Oversee initiatives to reduce

  carbon footprint, emissions, waste, and water usage

  .
• Drive adoption of

  renewable energy and circular economy practices

  .
• Implement

  biodiversity protection and rehabilitation programs

  (especially in mining, manufacturing, and heavy industries).

5. Governance & Reporting

• Lead

  sustainability reporting

  (GRI, BRSR, CDP, Integrated Reports, ESG ratings).
• Track and disclose progress transparently to

  investors, regulators, and the public

  .
• Ensure sustainability is embedded into

  corporate governance frameworks

  .

6. Change Leadership & Culture Building

• Promote a

  sustainability mindset

  across all levels of employees.
• Conduct training, awareness sessions, and internal campaigns.
  
• Partner with functional heads (Operations, HR, Finance, Supply Chain) to integrate sustainability in daily work.
  

7. Innovation & Partnerships

• Identify new technologies and practices for

  green and efficient operations

  .
• Collaborate with government, industry bodies, and research institutes on sustainability initiatives.
