The company, known for its technological advancements and diverse range of services, is committed to growth and success.  **Key Responsibilities:** - **Workshop Exposure**   - Assist in testing, maintenance, mobilization, and demobilization of survey equipment in the workshop under supervision.   - Learn to identify equipment types and their functions and report status updates to your supervisor or Workshop Manager.  - **Site Mobilization/Demobilization (Learning by Doing)**   - Participate in on-site mobilization/demobilization activities.   - Support the senior team in organizing and preparing equipment for field deployment while understanding project requirements.  - **Team Collaboration**   - Learn the importance of team coordination and provide assistance contribute by assisting wherever required.   - Develop interpersonal skills and work closely with peers and superiors to gain practical insights.  - **Equipment Handling (Observation & Practice)**   - Learn the correct methods for handling, cleaning, and safe storage of survey instruments.   - Understand manufacturer guidelines and safety measures under supervision.  - **Data Collection Support**   - Observe and assist surveyors during measurements and data acquisition recording.   - Learn to ensure accuracy by understanding the fundamentals of quality control and data validation.  - **Documenting and Filing**   - Help maintain basic field documents and records as per established procedures.   - Understand the structure of field filing systems and their importance in project tracking.  - **Instrument Care & Calibration**   - Participate in routine calibration and maintenance of instruments such as total stations, GPS, and other survey tools.   - Observe the process and gradually learn to perform basic tasks with guidance.  - **Field Setup Assistance**   - Assist in setting up control points, benchmarks, and other reference markers.   - Gain familiarity with measurement techniques for distances, angles, and elevations.  - **Basic Equipment Operation**   - Begin hands-on practice, under supervision, with instruments like GPS Receivers, Multibeam & Single Beam Echo Sounders, Sub-bottom Profilers, Side Scan Sonar, Magnetometers, USBL Systems, etc.   - Possess familiarity with land survey equipment such as Total Stations, theodolite, auto levels, etc.  - **Learning Quality Procedures**   - Participate in quality control activities and understand standard field QC practices.   - Observe how data is reviewed and corrected for accuracy.  - **Communication & Conduct**   - Learn to maintain a professional and polite demeanor in all interactions, whether with team members, clients, or vendors.   - Develop effective communication and reporting skills.  - **Equipment & Data Handover (Assisted Process)**   - Assist in the handover of equipment and accessories to the Workshop Manager upon project completion.   - Support the process of transferring field data to the Base Data Processor.  - **Confidentiality Awareness**   - Understand the importance of data confidentiality and ensure no information is shared with clients without approval from the Party Chief.  - **Expense Handling**   - Learn to prepare basic expense sheets and organize supporting bills for submission to the Accounts Department post-demobilization.  - **Knowledge Development**   - Take initiative to attend training sessions, workshops, and observe field procedures to build a solid foundation in surveying practices.   - Stay curious and committed to learning the latest technologies and techniques.  - **Supportive Contribution**   - Provide assistance to senior team members and learn by observing and doing.   - Be open to guidance, feedback, and mentoring to grow into a confident, skilled professional.  **Qualifications:** - BE/B.Tech/ Diploma in Electronics/ Electronics and Telecommunication/ Instrumental Engineering or Related Discipline. - Min 13 years of experience in survey acquisition & processing software  Apply Now: - hr@geoservicesmaritime.com  *Note: This position is open only for native candidates.*,
